We’d love to see you at the green. Whether you’re curious about bowls, thinking of joining, or just fancy trying something new, you’re very welcome.

Try before you join

Friday Open House Roll-ups, 2pm

No need to book – just turn up in flat-soled shoes and we’ll lend you everything else you need. We’ll show you the basics, you’ll have a go on the green, and you can see if you enjoy it.

No obligation, no charge, no experience needed.

What happens when you arrive

We’ll pair you up with one of our members who’ll walk you through the basics – how to hold the bowl, how to deliver it, how the game works. You’ll have a few practice rolls, then join in a friendly game.

Most people pick it up quickly, and everyone’s here to help. Members range from 8 to 80+, so you’ll be in good company whatever your age or ability.

Membership

If you’d like to join after trying it out, annual membership is £20 for your first year, then £80 per season thereafter (April–September).

Social membership is also available if you’d prefer to play casually rather than in competitive matches.
